TOBIAS KASPAR logotype foulard featuring details from the painting Peonies and Peach (1863) by Henri Fantin-Latour
90 x 90 cm
available in 100% silk or a fully vegan version made from 100% recycled polyester fabric
made in the Netherlands
The contemporary art museum, Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst, invited Tobias Kasper to produce a paper bag for them. Instead of featuring an artwork of his own, Kasper decided to reduce the bag to the essential task: to carry and promote his artist name: Tobias Kaspar. Just putting the logotype seamed too dry, it needed a decor but he didn’t want to use an artwork of his own for the task; thus, settling on the painting Peonies and Peach by Henri Fantin-Latour from 1863. The painting is in the museum Kunsthaus Zurich.
